Kendra Hall, LMSW
Kendra comes to Dunn & Associates with a commitment to patient advocacy. She ensures that her clients receive the resources they deserve and are cared for with dignity and respect throughout the guardianship and conservatorship process. Kendra understands the importance of fostering positive, lasting relationships with local hospitals, nursing and assisted living facilities, and her clients’ loved ones.
Kendra received her Bachelor of Arts from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor and her Master of Social Work from The University of Alabama at Birmingham. Kendra has extensive social work experience in both clinical and outpatient settings. Before joining Dunn & Associates, Kendra worked as a court representative with the Jefferson County Probate Court, where she assessed individuals at risk of financial exploitation and medical neglect. She worked as a clinical social worker in a medical setting at UAB’s 1917 Clinic, working with individuals living with HIV, connecting them to crucial resources to address homelessness, mental health needs, and substance use disorder. She also worked at Children’s of Alabama’s Emergency Department, responding to trauma, and providing crisis intervention, safety assessments and family mediation. Kendra’s long-standing interest in serving others is evidenced by her joining several AmeriCorps organizations immediately after college, including working with Teach for America-Detroit as a physics teacher and working with Impact Alabama where she advocated for communities across the state who lacked access to healthcare, education, and financial opportunities.
Brooke Coleman
Brooke Coleman is a dedicated Medicaid Case Manager at Dunn and Associates, having advanced from her previous role as a Legal Assistant. With a robust academic background that includes an undergraduate degree in political science and a Master's degree in public health earned in April 2023, Brooke brings a unique perspective to her role.
In her position as a Medicaid Case Manager, Brooke is responsible for guiding clients through the complexities of Medicaid applications and ensuring they receive the necessary benefits. She leverages her strong analytical, advocate for client needs, and navigate regulatory requirements.
Brooke’s passion for public health and advocacy fuels her commitment to serving clients, particularly those facing health-related challenges. Her experience in the legal field allows her to effectively communicate complex information and empower Dunn and Associate's clients to understand their rights and options.
Outside of her professional responsibilities, Brooke actively participates in community outreach programs and health initiatives, furthering her dedication to improving access to healthcare services. She is proud to be part of Dunn & Associates and is committed to making a difference in the lives of those she serves.
Alyssa Williams
My name is Alyssa Williams, and I serve as social work intern at Dunn and Associates, where I assist in managing the care of around 150 court-appointed wards under the supervision of Attorney C. Burton Dunn, who serves as a guardian and conservator for Jefferson County, Alabama. I am pursuing my Master’s in Social Work (MSW) at Samford University, having earned my BA in Psychology in May 2024. I am excited to work at D&A through next May to fulfill the field hour requirements for my MSW program. I am passionate about helping others and doing my part in making the world a better place. Working at D&A is a challenging yet rewarding experience that has and will give me invaluable experience in the realm of social work!.
Libby Talking Wolf
Libby Talking Wolf earned her Bachelor’s degree in Paralegal Studies from Samford University, obtained her professional certification through NALA in 2010 and brings 20 years of substantive paralegal experience to her work at Dunn & Associates. In that time, she has worked in the legal practice areas of employment law, litigation, financial services (loans/real estate contracts law), probate and estate planning. She finds the nature of probate and estate planning work particularly rewarding for its close personal contact with clients and their families.
