What is a Probate of Wills?
Probate of Wills is a process where someone dies with a will and that will needs to be probated in court. A will needs to be probated if a property needs to be passed down according to a will or a bank account needs to be divided out according to a will but the personal representative does not have access to the account. A will could also need to be probated to assist in other areas of dealing with the passing of a loved one. An estate can be opened with a will to determine heirs, make a claim if a spouse is left out of a will, or a variety of other issues a family member may have.
